Before deciding to run, I spent a year attending every Burnaby council meeting, following the agendas, and sitting down with council members, general managers, the CAO and the mayor to understand the role and its limits. I've taken that knowledge to events and thousands of doorsteps across the city, helping residents find the right person to talk to. This video was filmed leaving the final council meeting before the October 17 election.
